Barrett, Bonacci & Van Weele (BBV) was responsible for comprehensive site planning and design of a 1,300+ unit planned senior residential community, and 75-unit single-family home community featuring an 18-hole golf course, a community center and over 80 acres of common open space. BBV prepared engineering design plans for internal bike, pedestrian and roadway systems for the 300+ acre site. The roadway system included traffic calming features consisting of five roundabout intersections and color- treated crosswalk locations. BBV also provided site grading, design of drainage and sanitary sewer systems, and design of the off-site roadway improvements. This included the re-alignment of adjacent roadways and various intersection improvements.
